Refugee English Class
My English course with refugees from the camps surrounding Iriba and Guereda came to a close today. We covered a lot in the areas of pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension, not to mention enjoying lots of conversation, fatuur (breakfasts), and shaay (tea) together.
Yesterday, Sonja brought the kids, along with some apples and oranges. The class loved meeting them and especially relished speaking Arabic with Nehemiah. Here’s a pic of some from the class:
