One of our favorite seasonings to enjoy with beans here is dill.  It reminds me of when I was a kid and I used to crave the Old Dutch Dill Pickle chips.  Here Evangeline sifts the dill seeds from the sprigs so we can grind them up and have a whole new bottle of dill seasoning:
