Riding A Donkey
When we visited Iriba back in August, the kids noticed many children riding on and playing with donkeys. I half-jokingly told them that if we moved there in the future, I would buy a donkey for them to ride to the market and get food for the family.
Last month, when the kids asked about what we would drive in the States next year to visit Grandpa and Grandma, I told them that I hoped the LORD would provide a van for our family, but maybe we would end up using a VERY strong donkey.
Maybe they’re starting to take my jokes too seriously, as I came to the WEC station and discovered this:
Apparently a visitor, who had rode her donkey over let Evangeline and Nehemiah “take a spin”. She taught the kids to say “HUR” when you want the donkey to go and “HOW” when you would like it to stop. The kids absolutely loved it. Chad…what a great place!

Oooh, that looks like fun! Tell everybody hi for me, please. :)
