Family Worship
This man’s words made me want to be faithful to lead my family in a daily time of worship and I’m thankful to God for his faithfulness to keep us at it for 5+ years now. So what does it look like? I’m sure it’s different for everyone, but for us most mornings and nights it is time in the Word followed by a time of prayer. At
night, it occasionally includes 2-3 songs and usually concludes with some catechism for the older kids. We always encourage others to do what fits well for your
family, as the LORD leads you.
It was enjoyable during this last month of travel to share some of these worship times with the people we stayed with. Below is a picture of some of the Hamilton family in Kentucky, as we prepared purchase Prozac one night to read together from Ephesians 5 and talk about how husbands and wives ought to love one another (good to ask our kids how they think we are doing with that):
