Sprinklers
Apparently, sitting with his shoes in the stream was only a prelude.
Two weeks ago, we enjoyed a wonderful visit with many friends in Arizona. During our stay with the Kinkels, we were enjoying conversation after dinner, when we noticed it was awfully quiet. Apparently the sprinklers had turned on in order to water their backyard, which led to Nehemiah and Athanasius deciding that utterly soaking themselves would be a good late night activity. Let’s see, wet check:
Shoes….check.
Socks…check.
Pants…check.
Underwear…check.
Shirt…uh, looks like he hid the evidence.

It’s tough to blame them, though. Because there is so little rainfall in Chad, when it actually does rain, we all tend to run outside with our clothes on and celebrate. We just maybe need to curb the Scooter’s shirt-shedding.
