You want to train your kids to be good sports? Well, start by reading God’s Word with them and noting how greatly God cares about our love for others as evidenced by His words and the life of Christ. There is a lot more on loving our neighbors and enemies than their is on loving to win (although there is some of that to be fair).

Then, point out to your children when you see real-life examples of people who display that Christ-like attitude even in the midst of competition. Here’s what I’ll be showing my children tomorrow:
