Alone With Cancer

“God changed me probably differently from most people…he changed me through cancer.”

Those were 14-year old Victor Watters’ words and that’s just the beginning of an incredible testimony of God’s mercy.  On the Desiring God blog, Pastor John Piper shared briefly about  buy Prozac online Victor’s story order Deltasone Generic Zoloft .  Here is the background:

Victor died of cancer — Ewing’s Sarcoma. At the age of nine he was in the hospital alone. His birth family was unable to care for him. Mike and Deb Watters were often on the same unit because of a similar cancer in their daughter. To make a spectacular story of grace short, they adopted Victor, cared for him, led him to Jesus, and surrounded him with overflowing love as he died on September 7, 2011.

Victor’s testimony is amazing, but what tugs at my heart is what’s going on in the home of the Watters family.  Of course we would all have great pity for anyone we met in Victor’s situation (stricken with cancer and without a permanent family to love him), but how many of us would welcome him into our homes?

A life with a soul is filled with so many blessings.  I can’t say (because I don’t know this family), but I would guess that whatever struggles came with bringing Victor into their home (financial, emotional, etc.), were a pittance compared to the abundant blessings showered upon the Watters family from and through their five years of interactions with him.

Watch the video below of Victor sharing his testimony, moments with those who loved him, and accompanying pictures (it might just be the best 10 minutes of your week, as well as a good test to see if your lachrymal glands are functioning):

Thanks for touching our lives Victor.tadapox online uk
