It’s enough to make a father and mother’s heart melt.  As many of you know, the boys and girls are separated this week from one another, as well as us.  So, how are they handling the separation?  We received this report from Sonja’s mom:

We got a surprise phone call last night.  Nehemiah had asked Jacob’s Dad if he could call Evangeline last night.  I wish we could have taped their conversations – it was soooo cute!  They were asking how each other was doing, whether they were having fun, and talking about when they would see each other again.  They each said they missed the other  and Nehemiah mentioned he was going to a hockey game on Thursday.  Evangeline talked to Athanasius.  She asked him, “How are you doing buddy?  I miss you.”  He was reporting on his bath…well you get the picture.  They also talked to Grandpa and I.  It was good they could talk to each other.  What wonderful kids you have!
