National Champs
One might wonder what the men are up to while the ladies are Generic prednisone swinging in the parks, attending ballet performances and checking out flower shows.

Well…when my knee began to feel a bit more stable two weeks after straining the MCL and ACL, I started to have notions of playing in the Broomball National Championships. I took off the knee brace and started stretching it each day. By last Friday, I decided I would try to give it a go.
The National Championships were out at the Blaine National Sports Center and the kids came to watch most of the games throughout the weekend. I wore the knee brace for each game and the knee held up all weekend. After and undefeated pool play, our team, Inferno, eked out a close semifinal win in overtime 3-2 and then beat a very good contender 4-0 in the championship to win Nationals.
It was a blast to play with the guys one last time before the season ended. Here is a picture of our team after the chip:
