Deer Jumps Into Car
Not sure what they’re feeding the deer in Austin, MN, but on Saturday morning, as we were driving to visit my uncle and aunt, we received a call that my uncle was in the ER. When I asked my mom why, she said it sounded like a deer jumped into his vehicle.

I figured she must have misheard.
Nope, that’s about what happened. Apparently my uncle was driving down the road at 30 mph when a deer came dashing out of the nearby woods, hit the front driver’s-side corner of his windshield, and as the rest of the body ricocheted, it somehow ended up with it’s head going into Mark’s open window on the driver’s-side and leaving a large gash above his right eye, which required four stitches.
Here are a couple pictures of the incident, which we are thankful wasn’t fatal to anything but the windshield and car door (yes, that’s blood all over his shorts and deer hair still stuck to the door):
