Snow is a wonderful thing.  We have been getting pounded this week here in Sherbrooke and I am downright giddy about it…mostly because this is a rarity for my kids and they are having a blast.

Snow provides you with so many activities.  For example, there is the symbolic building of the snowman with friends (John Hardy, Chaya, Evangeline, and Nehemiah):

We also have the spiritually, spastic exercise of grafting snow angels (probably due to some loose screws, our kids have also tried this in the desert):

And then the one activity that everyone does, but then spends hours forbidding their kids to do, eating snow (Athanasius literally enjoys a three course meal every time he goes outside).  Here, Nehemiah makes it a little more wholesome by simply trying to catch snow flakes on his tongue:

All in all, snow provides for hours of fun with good friends, which we’re really thankful for:
