Name-Dropping

Wikipedia defines name-dropping as “the practice of mentioning important people within a conversation or story, so as to to create a sense of superiority by raising one’s status.”

Just so we’re clear…that’s EXACTLY what I’m doing here.

Last year, when we first returned to the States, we begin the usual process of “What happened during the last two years while we were gone?” This involves being blown away by electronic gadget advances and catching up with new music that has come out. One of the new artists that was always playing in our home was Jason Gray. If you haven’t heard his story of a stuttering speech impediment that strangely disappears when he sings, it’s astonishing. Here was the song we listened to the most:

So, imagine our utter astonishment when I received this picture from my brother Joshua tonight:

Jason Gray put on a concert at our home church up in Roseau and we are completely jealous of all of you who were able to go. The kids are still in disbelief at the fame of their uncle to have such connections. Way to go bro!

Here’s one of Jason Gray’s newest songs, which reminds us of the fact that in God’s hands, of all our hardships and heartaches, “Nothing Is Wasted“… I hope you listen to it:
