Real Estate Agent
There are so many things that I become more thankful for while living in Chad. This past month, it’s been real estate agents. We have some friends that are hoping to move into our area and since real estate agents don’t exist here, I became one :-) We’ll see if that turns out to be a blessing or curse for them.
So, what does a being a real estate agent in Eastern Chad do? Well, it involves a lot of driving around to find a suitable house, sticking your nose into neighbor’s houses to find out who the owner is, and then drinking tea and chatting with family or friends of the owner to see if it might be available for rent. Here are a few of the houses I was able to find, inquire about, and see firsthand:

That second house looks cool. The builder was thinking out of the box. I’ve never seen slanted wall frames.
