The Scavenger
These days, if you leave any remnant of food out in the house, it’s virtually guaranteed to get picked up by the scavenger. What? You’re worried that we have a raccoon here in Chad…not at all. The scavenger most commonly seen in our house goes by the name of Perpetua. Last month, Sonja was preparing some dough for tortillas or pizza crust. After rolling the dough out, she left the mixing bowl on the counter and went to check on the kids’ school work.
I walked in a few minutes later and found this activity taking place:
Being the strict disciplinarian that I am, I looked at her and said, “Stop…I need to take a picture!”
