Mattresses Are Overrated

As for the background to this upcoming picture, on the day that Sonja and I went to visit the refugee camps outside of Iriba, the kids stayed behind to play with the Faris children. We returned at about 2 in the afternoon and opened the door to this lovely sight:
Apparently, Athanasius played himself right into a sound sleep on the cement floor. Talk about talented…he napped there for two hours in a dead sweat with his leg crossed the entire time. Nice job Scooter!
and I bet his back didn’t ache a bit when he got up. kids are amazing!
…and I’m assuming the reason his pants are on backward is because he dressed himself…hehe.
