Athanasius’ New Word

One of the great things about having young kids is listening to their vocabulary grow and their language evolve.  It has been enjoyable to listen to Athanasius say, during hide and seek games, “My-It, My-It” (which is what he calls Nehemiah) as he searches for him outside.

When I returned yesterday, the kids were excited to tell me about his new word, which he pronounces with pretty close accuracy, “med-u-son”.  At breakfast time, when Mama pulls out the flagyl and antibiotics, Athanasius stands up in his chair and starts chanting medicine.  He actually likes it.

The family’s health is well so thanks for your prayers.  There are still a few cases of diarrhea, but the vomiting, stomach pains, and low energy have passed.  Praise the LORD for such kindness to us.

I’m glad to hear you’re all feeling better. Just so you know, Flagyl is also an antibiotic, we use it a lot for diarrhea, even here in the US.
I love reading all your posts!
