Evangeline’s Prayer
We love our little girl. Talk about feeling in the minority…it’s still stupefying to think that in a city of 80,000 people (Abeche), she is the only white girl. No wonder she is gawked at whenever she goes out.
Last week, Sonja texted me this sweet little nugget regarding Evangeline:
We just got done praying before I laid the kids down for bed. Evangeline prayed for the baby in my womb, and then asked God to give us two more after this one.

What a joy for her to know at such a young age that children are a blessing from the LORD.
