A Pilot’s Prerogative
A California grandfather received word that his 2-year-old grandson had been murdered and would be taken off of life-support at 9 AM in the morning. He wanted to see the little boy one last time before the scheduled life-support removal, but airport security lines were quickly eliminating that possibility, until a thoughtful act from one man.

I’m not sure how big this story is over there in the States, but it made me cry this morning. I’d love to meet this man, who risked the wrath of countless passengers and his employers, to help one grieving man. He’s encouraged me to look to Christ today and I’m glad that his employer has supported him in his decision.
