Sonja signing in for my “once every so often” post :)

Sometime, we’ll have to share about how these formal English classes started. In the mornings there have been 10 boys coming for the past three weeks. They can now greet me in English, say their numbers, days of the week and sing about half of the ABCs correctly:) They also know how to answer the question “How is your mother?” with “My mother is fine.” (I usually greet them this way in Arabic, so I taught them how to say it in English.) In addition, for the most part they can identify the words: mother, father, man, woman, boy, and girl. Nehemiah and Evangeline are teaching them the song “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” and at the end of the lesson I read them a book.
