Bathroom Manners
Life is a little different here in America. A gracious friend pointed out to us a couple weeks ago that we might want to initiate some training with the kids in American Bathroom Habits. Now remember, our children are used to simply going to the bathroom in a hole in the ground in Chad. So, how has that translated here:
1) All of them forget to flush the toilet 97% of the time.
2) The boys have no value in actually hitting the hole (or wiping the lid, which they hit really well).

4) After Nehemiah finally started getting the hang of flushing toilets, he stood in the bathroom of the gas station repeatedly pressing the sensor on the automatic flushing toilet, while telling me, “Papa, this flusher doesn’t seem to be working.”
