Flying Solo
That’s not a figure of speech. Nehemiah is literally flying unaccompanied today from Burlington, VT to Grand Forks, ND via Detroit and Minneapolis. The purpose for his trip is to get a taste of deer hunting season with Grandpa, as well as enjoying some time with cousins and other friends and family.
After running into news of this flying incident online, we were quite wary of having Nehemiah fly on his own, but he’s pretty accustomed to airports and travel and we’ve given him a phone so that we’re able to talk with him each step of the way.
That being said, if you read this today, say a prayer for a safe trip for Nehemiah and an enjoyable time with family in Minnesota. Here’s us just an hour before his flight departs here:
