Welcome Home Signage
During Perpetua’s birth, our kids spent time with our friends, the Morgans, Schraders, and Hutts (yes, it takes three families to collectively pin them all down). One of the sweet presents we had when we returned after Perpetua’s delivery was a decorated door. It looked like this:
The door contained picture colorings of babies, one in Hadassah’s classic “I’ll use one color to scribble a straight line” and the other in Athanasius’ patented “I’ll change colors mid-body part, so this arm looks like a gun”. It appears we need to go back to the drawing board and teach them how to spell their names correctly (Hadessa?…..Athinasuas?). Or was that their caretakers?
But my favorite sign of all was the one which clearly laid out the gospel for Perpetua:
