Water Getaway
This week was sprink break at Parole de Vie, so we took the opportunity to get away with some of our friends and spend some time together. There is a little hotel just across the border in New York that has a small water works area for very young children and two water slides for bigger children. Here’s a couple pictures of the place:
I think it’s at times like these, where Sonja is most proud to be my wife.
The role I played most often during the two days was that of “personal steed” to Athanasius and Hadassah’s. They were pretty gentle jockeys, but had some trouble staying in the saddle:

A final note from the getaway. While serving as water activities director for the children, I only got in trouble from the lifeguard once (a personal record)…apparently lobbing rubber ducks at one another is a “dangerous” activity :-)
