Last year, Sonja and I were skating in Montreal celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in freezing conditions, while today we were sweating in the Chadian heat as we reminisced on all the ways that God has blessed us in our marriage.  Maybe Sonja’s sister, Kari, said it best, when she wrote today:

11 years of marriage, 5 children, homes in Africa, Canada and a couple of the 50 states . . . it will be exciting to see what’s in store for the next 11 years!

Whether it’s hot or cold, rain or shine, in America or Africa, there is no one I’d rather do life with than you honey.  Thanks for the best 11 years of my life!
