Reconnecting
With the completion of my first round of English classes, we decided last week that it would be a wonderful time to visit our friends back in Abeche. Even though we talk over the phone and email one another, it was really nice to see each other face to face, let our kids play together, and enjoy everyone’s company.
We even managed to take some time to relax together one afternoon and venture out to the hills, where some people painted, others flew a kite, and the entire group commemorated the outing with a group photo. Now, doesn’t this look like a fun bunch to hang out with?
