There are many things we get to see and do when we go on holiday that for all intents and purposes are nonexistent the rest of the year in Chad. We don’t resent that, but simply enjoy those special trips or seasons when they come along.

Here in Sweden, the family is loving all the green grass and forests. When we first arrived, the kids just ran around in the grass in the yard and talked about how soft it was…quite a bit different than the sand and rocks they are used to. The home we are staying at also has a swing set and a tree swing in the yard, so the kids have been doing a lot of swinging each day. You can frequently hear one child asking another to “push me”. It should be a fun holiday!
