Obstacle Course
This week, we’re in the capital to participate in our organization’s 2015 Chad Area Retreat. Volunteers from our churches have come to provide instruction, activities, and a kids’ program for our children. On one of the first days, the older kids were put into two teams to compete in an obstacle course. Here were the lineups for the fearsome Team 1 and Team 2:
The course began with a crawl through a tunnel:
For the 2nd obstacle, the kids needed to run through a maze of rings:
Next, the teams had two tossing events, bean bags into a round flotation device and tennis balls into a basin:
Finally, each child hopped in a sack to the end and returned to tag the next teammate in line. Athanasius’ expressions tell you that this obstacle course relay was a lot of fun for the kids!
