Over And Over Again
The holy pursuit of God for His people is a thing of beauty to behold. He finds us again and again in the myriad of places we end up. For the son in rebellion, He finds him and invites him home by His mercy. For the daughter who is suffering, He finds her and comforts her by His love. For His children facing insurmountable battles, He finds them and delivers them by His strength.
The Old Testament is a replay over and over of God finding His people again and again. Indeed, our family has discovered Him pursuing us with His holy love in much the same way through the years. It’s a beautiful thing to be loved so relentlessly by such a great God. In the song, “Over And Over Again“, the group IAMTHEY speaks of His pursuit this way:
