Nehemiah Travels The World

…by himself.  That’s the big catch here that might cause people to gasp a little.  But, walking through an airport, reading flight schedules, and passing through security checks are as second nature to Nehemiah as playing in the park or walking home from school in a small town is for other kids.  Also, this is not his first rodeo, as this will be the third year he has traveled back to the States without us.  Last year he had to return by himself.  Here he is leaving Chad and heading to Istanbul, Turkey.

After 24 hours of radio silence (he was not able to find a wifi connection and communicate with us along the way), we finally received word from our friend Kevin, who went to meet him in Chicago, that he had arrived safely.

We were nervous parents and appreciated your prayers for him along the way.

When I first saw the picture of Kevin and Nehemiah I said to myself “Oh my goodness he’s a young man”, he’s such a nice looking young man. Good job you two.

Praise God! He’s learned so many skills. Your trust in him and God have vast impact.

Does he attend public school while he is in the states for soccer?
