Last month, Sonja found out that Bemidji had openings for driving exams. We were able to move Nehemiah’s originally scheduled exam for November in the Twin Cities to June 29th in Bemidji. Nehemiah started preparing for his driver’s license in Africa. We would go out to the village airport, since it was the flattest dirt road, and practice driving there.

So, on the day before, we drove up to Bemidji along with Evangeline and we’re proud to report that despite hitting a couple parked cars, Nehemiah passed his exam (kidding about the parked car part).

We spent the rest of the day at my parents’ cabin in Bemidji to celebrate. Congratulations Nehemiah! Also congratulations State Farm…you are now able to collect more for our insurance premiums.
