Twelfth Night Neighborhood Play
We moved into an AWESOME neighborhood last year. There are lot of kids in the neighborhood who all enjoy hanging out with one another, riding bikes to the park, playing sports, and attending other events. Each summer, a number of the children put on a play together for the neighborhood and take donations for charity. They do almost all of the writing, casting, directing, promoting, costumes, and props themselves. Last night, they performed Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night”. Evangeline played the role of Maria, an attendant to the wealthy countess Olivia, while Athanasius was Feste, Olivia’s jester. The kids did an amazing job, putting on two shows for about 100 people and raising some money for Feed My Starving Children. Here’s some pictures from the event.
