Sleepless In Abeche

We may have been ” Generic Zoloft buy prednisone online Singin’ In The Rain” just over a month ago when it first rained, but lately we’ve been more acquainted with the literal message of MercyMe singing “Bring The Rain“.  All the hype that this would be a BIG rainy season has so far been unmet with just 3-4 short showers, but there’s still time so we’ll keep praying.

On hot days like these, we tend to fall asleep quite early (like 7 PM) from exhaustion, which often leaves me waking up at about midnight feeling like a full night’s sleep is complete.  In this state, I am writing briefly now.
A lot of culture and interactions these last two days.  Our house is actually one side of a rather large house that has 3-4 rooms on each side, which only share a common roof.  This picture, taken from the front gate gives you an idea of the layout (we live on the left side, while the right side is similar):

The owner’s brother has just taken a second wife and she has moved into the other side and will live here now.  A goat was slaughtered today and there were hordes of people in the house visiting.  Nehemiah joined me for some goat meat and said, “It’s tough to chew, Papa”.

We have put up some boundaries for privacy’s sake, as the open door has led to kids using the avenue as an alternate way of entrance into our home.  Yesterday, after being out for a couple hours, we returned to find Evangeline’s tea set missing, only to locate it later in the neighbor’s yard, probably meaning one of the kids was exploring in our yard while we were gone and figured they would take the toys to play with.
It can all be a bit stressful and invasive for us Americans, so you can pray for patience and love :)
