Last month, Athanasius had the privilege of eating a peach for the first time in his life.  I really wish we had a video camera because what transpired was priceless.  What began as an activity of great delight as he enjoyed the sweet juices every time he bit into the peach turned into great confusion when he reached the pit.  He tried to bite it, looked at it for awhile, and then tried to bite it again.  Now coming from the guy who will eat every part of his apple including the stem, it’s hard for him to imagine a part of fruit that is not edible.

After struggling with the pit for a little time, he finally walked over to Sonja and uttered these insightful words:
