(As you can see from my face, that was a rough delivery and Sonja punched me a few times…ok, I actually took a broomball stick to the face the weekend before). But then, it seems like it was just yesterday that we were squeezing puss out of this kid’s infected cheek in Chad:

And now this morning, he’s telling me that he’s nine years old. Seriously? We’re halfway down the runway before sending this young man off to college? While it has flown by, we have tried to cherish every moment of the privileged time God has given us in raising Nehemiah. He continues to grow in wisdom and knowledge and is such a help to us around the home.

We love you Bucko and feel so blessed to be your parents these nine years!
