Scavenger Hunt
In the past few months, Athanasius has made a new best friend here at Parole de Vie. A couple days a week, he usually spends a morning with his buddy, Korban, who just arrived with his family after Christmas. They’ve played in the snow together, played with toys inside together, and have now started to venture into the woods together exploring.
A couple weeks ago, Korban’s mother put together a little scavenger hunt of things you can find here in the outdoors on the campus of Parole de Vie. The boys were each given an egg carton with pictures of items like a pebble, a leaf, a cone, a pine needle, a feather, etc. Korban’s dad pulled the boys on a sled and they picked up items that corresponded with the “to find” list.
