Clothes are not easy to find here. They are very low quality and wear rather quickly. For this reason we try to make sure our kids are stocked well when we leave the States and only purchase clothes here which fit the local tastes.

That being said, kids grow fast!

Sonja found a new house dress for our growing daughter in the market the other week. There was only one slight problem, it was a little long. This was no problem in Sonja’s mind. She walked right over to a tailor who was near the clothes shop and asked him if he would hem the dress so it would fit appropriately. The man was happy to do the job.
